Humboldt, IA – No injuries are reported after a pickup truck sideswipes a semi-truck on 169 Monday morning.
Officers Susan Rutz of the Humboldt Police Department reports that on Monday, March 9, that Karissa Heath, 19, of Lake Mills was traveling Northbound on U.S route 169 when she attempted to pass a semi-truck driven by Taylor Carpentier, 26, of Buffalo Center to her left. As the right lane ended Heath was forced to merge and failed to clear Carpentier causing her to sideswipe the semi-truck with her white Ford F250.
Both vehicles sustained minor damages as a result of the incident. Neither Heath nor Carpentier reported injury to Officer Rutz at the time of the incident.
