Bode, IA – no injuries reported after two cars collide Tuesday evening at a four way intersection.
Deputy Matt Steil of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Tuesday, March 10, a minor from Rutland was traveling northbound on Iowa Avenue when he failed to stop at a stop sign at a four way intersection. The action caused his gray Pontiac Grand Prix to strike the rear passenger side of the beige Dodge Ram 2500 driven by George Kathrens Jr, 49, of Humboldt.
The incident resulted in severe damages to the minor’s Grand Prix and minor damages to Kathrens’ 2500. No injuries were reported by either driver to Deputy Steil at the time of the incident. The minor was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
