Humboldt, IA – No injuries reported after a delivery truck backs into a parked pickup truck at a local business on Monday.
Officer Susan Rutz of the Humboldt Police Department reports that on Monday, April 6, Layton Smith, 30, of Humboldt was in a local business parking lot when he began to back up. Smith ended up backing his small white freightliner into the front bumper of a red Chevrolet Silverado owned by Donald Meier that was parked in the lot.
The incident resulted in minor damages to both vehicles. No injury was reported to Officer Rutz at the time of the incident.
