Junk pickup day remains same in Humboldt for now

Humboldt, IA – The City of Humboldt is continuing forward with junk pickup days as planned and will inform the public if there are any changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It was announced on Wednesday, April 1, that the City of Humboldt is still planning to have junk pickup days starting April 20. However, the city recognizes that the COVID-19 situation is a fluid and this could change. If the Governor Reynolds were to issue a mandatory shelter-in-place order the city would postpone junk pick up until a later date.

The city is encouraging everyone to wait to place junk out on the curb for as long as possible. The city will inform everyone on the plan for junk pickup going forward and KHBT will provide additional information when it is made available.
