Humboldt, IA – The HCMH CEO is sending a message of pride and reassurance to the community during National Hospital Week as the battle against COVID-19 continues.

This week is National Hospital Week. In a press release Humboldt County Memorial Hospital shares their thoughts to community. CEO Michelle Slater says the hospital is celebrating their employees for their dedication to HCMH and providing exceptional patient care. Sleiter also is proud of her team for stepping up to meet the new normal and community for their doing part to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

While the virus has brought on a new normal, Sleiter wants the community to know a few things. She says the community can count on the staff to do their part to assure all of their facilities are safe for patients and staff. In cases of medical emergencies, she says the community should never have to hesitate in calling 911 and seek immediate attention. This is the same for chronic conditions and routine health care.

Sleiter says that she and the entire staff at HCMH are appreciative of the outpour of support they have received from the community. She encourages everyone to continue to stay strong and remember that we are all in this together.
