Humboldt, IA – No injuries reported after a two car incident occurs along Highway 3 in Humboldt.
Officer Colton Monson of the Humboldt Police Department reports that on Wednesday, May 13, that Nathan Montero, 20, of Humboldt was traveling westbound on Highway 3 as Trysten Frazier, 18, of Humboldt was northbound on 14th Street. Frazier approached a stop sign and proceeded forward but was unable to get across the intersection. The action resulted in the passenger side rear of Frazier’s red Kia Optima getting struck by Montero’s black Pontiac Grand Prix.
As a result of the incident Frazier’s Optima had to be towed away from the scene. Montero was able to drive his Grand Prix away from the scene. No injuries were reported to Officer Monson at the time of the incident.
