Humboldt County, IA – no injuries reported after a deer is struck by a pickup truck on Wednesday morning.
Deputy Kenneth Vorland of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Wednesday, June 17, that Austin Chapman, 25, from Dillsboro, Indiana was east bound on 270th Street when a deer ran out from the north. The animal ran in front of Chapman who was unable to avoid the animal. The action resulted in his white Chevrolet Silverado striking the deer.
The incident resulted in minor damages to Chapman’s Silverado. No injuries were reported by Deputy Vorland as a result of the incident.
