Humboldt, IA – No injuries reported after a hit and run incident in a Humboldt parking lot Saturday evening.
Office David Jones of the Humboldt Police Department reports on an incident where a parked vehicle is struck. The report states that on Saturday, July 18, Jones was dispatched to Humboldt Homes, phase two and spoke with Karen Rowe regarding a “hit and run” incident. She stated that a red van had sideswiped her white Ford Escape which was legally parked. After speaking with the owner of the red Chrysler Town and Country involved in the incident, the driver was identified as the owner’s son, a minor from Humboldt.
The incident resulted in minor damages to both vehicles. No injuries were reported by Office Jones at the time of the incident.
