As previously reported by KHBT there was an explosion at a Gilmore City residency on Tuesday, Sept. 15. The injured man from the explosion has now been identified as Ryan Angell, 49, who lives at the place of the incident.

Angell remains at the Des Moines hospital and his condition is being considered serious. There was another present at the home at the time of the explosion but they were reportedly unharmed.
