Humboldt, IA – No injuries reported after a vehicle strikes a curb and flattens a tire in Humboldt last Friday.

Deputy Ryan Stein of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office reports on the single car incident. His report states that on Friday, Sept. 11, Tiffany Yates, 34, of Gilmore City was eastbound on 1st Avenue North in Humboldt and was looking to turn south on 4th Street. As she turned she struck the east curb with the front driver’s tire of her black Ford Edge. The impact caused the metal control arm on the driver’s side front to break and flatten the tire. According to the report no further information was given to Deputy Stein at the scene because Yates was “uncooperative and belligerent.” The report says she later says the cause for the accident was a physical confrontation with her boyfriend.

The incident resulted in disabling damages to the Ford Edge. No injuries were reported by Deputy Stein at the time of the incident.
