Dakota City, IA – A parcel of land in Humboldt County is being rezoned following recommendation and approval.
During the most recent meeting of the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors they were present with the recommendation to approve the rezoning of a parcel of land in Dakota City. County Zoning Administrator Randy Krecklow presented the recommendation to the board.
The recommendation says that the county’s zoning board met back on Oct. 19 to be informed about the zoning change request. The request was from owners Alexander and Ashley Deuel to change the land from zone agricultural (A-1) to residential (R-1). Having met the requirement to be rezoned as such, the zoning board recommended the action to the supervisors.
The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors approved the rezoning unanimously as presented.
