No injuries after pickup truck slips and rolls in ditch

Humboldt County, IA – No injuries reported following slick conditions cause a pickup truck to slide and roll.

Deputy Tim Fisher of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office reports on the single car incident. His report states that on Sunday, Oct. 25, Guillermo Roman, 49, of Belmond was traveling west on Highway 3. While driving in the wintery conditions Roman struck a patch of slush that caused him to lose control and enter the north ditch. According to the report his white Chevrolet Silverado rolled once and came to a rest on its wheels facing east.

The incident resulted in the Silverado suffering severe damages and it was towed away from the scene. No injuries were reported by Deputy Fisher as a result of the incident.
