Humboldt County, IA – No injuries reported after a deer uses a SUV as a spring board crossing the roads.
Deputy Kenneth Vorland of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office reports on the animal involved incident. The report states that on Monday, Oct. 26, Kyanne Wardell, 44, of Humboldt was traveling southbound on Highway 169 during the morning commute. As she continued south a deer jumped out of the ditch from the west on the top and front of her gray Buick Envision. The report does not state if the animal was found at the scene.
The incident resulted in functional damaged to the Envision that was driven away from the scene. No injuries were reported by Deputy Vorland as a result of the incident.
