Humboldt, IA – Humboldt High School volleyball continues to dominate the North Central Conference as they grab 25 straight win.

On Tuesday, Oct. 6, Humboldt Wildcats volleyball hosted St. Edmond for their fifth NCC match of the 2020 season. It was another big win for Humboldt who has yet to lose this season. Humboldt has also not dropped a set to any of their conference opponents.

In Humboldt’s three sets to none win they took the first set 25-14, the second set 25-16 and the final set 25-12. Once again Humboldt seemed to be unchallenged by their opponent. St. Edmond fought to keep it close through the first 10 points for both teams in the first two sets before errors by the Gaels began to compound with Humboldt aggressive offense.

Senior Outside Hitter Jori Hajek had a really strong day offensively and defensively. She led the team with 21 kills on the evening and 21 digs as well. Setter Deni McDaniel also recorded a double-double with 42 assists and 13 digs. As a team Humboldt hit an efficient .255  with 49 kills on 106 attempts with 22 errors
