Humboldt, IA – No injuries reported following a two car incident that left two vehicles disabled Wednesday.

Officer Susan Rutz of the Humboldt Polices Department files the report on the two car incident. Her report states that on Wednesday, Nov. 18, she was dispatched to an incident that occurred on 13th Street South. Upon investigation the report states that John Taylor was southbound on Highway 169 when his silver Toyota Prius was struck on the front passenger side by a black Nissan Rogue driven by Michaela Wendel who was turning out from a driveway. Wendel says her vision was obstructed by a truck pulling into the driveway she was leaving which was what resulted in the incident.

Both Taylor’s Prius and Wendel’s rogue were left disabled by the incident and had to be towed away from the scene. No injuries were reported by Officer Rutz at the time of the incident.
