Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt Police Department is reporting a hit-and-run accident that occurred December 10th
According to the report by Officer David Jones, a 2014 red Chevrolet Impala was damaged after being parked at Dollar General in Humboldt. The driver, Ryan Cornelius, stated the car was parked at the west side of the building and he noticed damage to the back of his vehicle. Approximately $2,500 of damages was done to the Impala with no perpetrator in sight. Cornelius was able to drive to car from the scene.
The accident has been reported as a “hit-and-run” and at this time, there have been no charges filed.
