Last month to renew off-highway vehicles and snowmobile license before penalty

Dakota City, IA – There is still time for owners to renew their ATVs, snowmobiles, ORVs and off-road motorcycle owners to renew their license.

Humboldt County Recorder Diane Amundson provides a release to remind the public the new DNR 2021 License Year is approaching. Owners of ATVs, snowmobiles, ORVs and off-road motorcycles have until Dec. 31, 2020 to renew their license.

The renewal fee for current registrations is $17.75 per vehicle until the end of the year. Staring Jan. 1, 2021 a five dollar penalty will be applied. Snowmobiles being operated on public land, ice or designated trails are also required to display and IDNR user permit that has a fee of $17.75.
