23 new COVID-19 cases reported in past week, 87 active

Humboldt County, IA – Public Health is reporting a total of 87 active COVID-19 cases in Humboldt County as the total case count reaches 1,017.

In looking at the COVID-19 numbers for the county from Monday Jan. 4 through Sunday, Jan. 10 Humboldt County Public Health and the Iowa Department of Public Health have reported a total of 23 new cases over the course of the week. The county’s total case count is now up to 1,017

Here is how the total positive cases break down by age:

  • 123 are in the 0-17 age range.
  • 336 are in the 18-40 age range.
  • 294 are in the 41-60 age range.
  • 206 are in the 61-80 age range.
  • 58 are in the 81+ age category.

Additional information provided from the states coronavirus.iowa.gov shows the Humboldt County positivity rate as 16 percent over the past 14 days.
