Sedan flips in ditch after a slide on slush

Humboldt County, IA – Possible injures suspect after a slick roads causes a sedan to rolled in a ditch.

Chief Deputy Corey Lampe of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office files the report on the single car incident. The report states that on Thursday, Jan. 14, Wanette Bird, 50, of Livermore was traveling south on K Road. After crossing a bridge at the bottom of a hill she lost traction due to the slush on the roads. The result was her sliver Chevrolet Malibu crossing the center line and entering the east ditch. The Malibu overturned before coming to a stop on its top.

The incident resulted in severe damages to Bird’s Malibu that was towed away from the scene. According to the Chief Deputy Lampe’s report the driver complained of some pain but refused medical treatment.
