Humboldt County, IA – No injuries reported as two separate vehicles are overturned in separate Wednesday incidents.

Deputy Kenneth Vorland of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office files the report on both incidents on Wednesday, Jan. 6. In the first incident William Miller, 31, of Wesley was southbound along Highway 17. He hit icy roads that caused his red Ford Ranger to slide into the east ditch and roll over onto the driver’s side.

The second incident occurred as Jessica Thayer, 35, of Eagle Grove was west on 270th Street when she hit a patch of ice. Her blue Dodge Ram 1500 began to spin around and went into the north ditch. The vehicle rolled to its driver’s side.

Both Miller’s Ranger and Thayer’s 1500 were towed away from the scene but they were reported as “not disabled.” Neither driver was injured according to Deputy Vorland’s report.
