Contracts and bonds for six county road projects approved

Dakota City, IA – The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors continue lining up street work for the spring.

On Monday, February 8, during the meeting of the board they approved the legal documents for multiple projects. County Engineer Ben Loots presented these items on the agenda.

As previously reported by KHBT, during last weeks meeting the supervisors approved six contracts to be awarded. The first was to Weideman Inc. out of Dows. The other five were to Mathy Construction Inc. from Onalaska, Wisconsin who recently purchased Fort Dodge Asphalt.

During this meeting the supervisors approved the bonds and contracts for the projects. Loots says that everything is in order and recommended the approval.

Supervisors unanimously gave their approval.
