HCMH, Public Health hosting wellness screenings

Humboldt, IA – The local hospital is holding a community wellness screening at the end of the month.

Humboldt County Memorial Hospital’s Director of Community Development Mardi Ratzlaff provides the information to KHBT. On Thursday, Feb. 25, HCHM and Humboldt County Public Health will be holding their community wellness screening.

From 6:30 to 8:30 am the hospital will be offering lab screenings for multiple common health issues often found in older adults. This includes doing cardio CRP test, hemogram, and hepatitis C antibody testing and colorectal screenings.

The screenings will occur at the HCMH Foundation Conference Room which is located on the second floor. There will be a charge associated with each screening and payment is due at the time of service.

Individuals should be fasting with no solid or liquid food for 12 hours prior to their screenings. For questions or to make an appoints call (515)332-2492.
