Humboldt, IA – The Iowa Department of Natural resources is planning for prescribed burns this spring in local counties.

Announced through a release the DNR says they will be conducting these burns during the spring season on wildlife management areas managed by the DNR’s Prairie Lake Wildlife Unit.

Included in this year’s rotation is Three Rivers in Humboldt County. Locations in Palo Alto and Kossuth County are also included in this years prescribed burns.
