Humboldt County, IA – Possible serious injuries suspected following a vehicle going airborne in a single car incident Saturday Night.
Deputy Michael Vinsand of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office files the report on the incident. His report says that on Saturday, April 17, Jeffrey Kroeger, 49, of Renwick was traveling 160th Street when he lost control on the roadway.
His red Mercury C 230K Sport entered the north ditch and traveled 15 feet where it struck a concrete culvert. The impact caused the vehicle to go airborne for another 15 feet. The vehicle then struck the ditch and traveled for 87 feet before coming to a stop.
According to the report by Deputy Vinsand, serious injuries were suspected and EMS transported Kroeger from the scene. The vehicle was towed away after sustaining severe damages.
