Carlson, Hamand lead Humboldt girls’ golf to NCC triangular win

Webster City, IA – On Tuesday, May 4, the Humboldt High School girls’ golf team won a North Central Conference triangular at the Webster City Country Club.

Course par is 36 for a nine hole round – top four scores making up each team score.

Humboldt’s scored 41 over par as a team to win the meet. The hosts, Webster City, were +70 in second and third place St. Edmond was +114.

Humboldt’s Nora Carlson +1 (a new personal best) as the meets top performer. Fellow Wildcats, Noelle Hamand was runner-up at +8.

  • Tori Gargano +18

The next meet for the Humboldt girls’ golf team will be Thursday, May 6, at 3:30 pm. It will be held at the Fort Dodge Country Club.
