Humboldt, IA – On Tuesday, May 4, Humboldt High school boys’ soccer beat the fourth ranked Nevada Cubs 2-0.

In the 73rd minute Humboldt got another penalty kick opportunity after Mason was tripped up in the box on a set piece play. He converted to give Humboldt the 2-0 lead they won by.

As a team Humboldt reports taking 22 shots, 17 of which were on goal. James Gould was credited with seven shots, four of which were on goal.
