Humboldt, IA – Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be holding master conservation courses in the region.
Extension and Outreach announced that starting in mid-May they will be holding a seven week Master Conservationist program. All class wills run from 6-9 pm.
Throughout the program they will discuss the history and current opportunities for conservation in Iowa. They will highlight Iowa’s land forms, forests, prairies, wetland and rivers within the region. It pairs in-person demonstrations and discussions led by local conservation leaders and educator paired with online, self-paced lesson from Iowa State University experts.
The first class will be on May 18 at Camp Wanoki in Fort Dodge. The program will have weekly meeting that conclude on Jun 29 at Gotch Park in Humboldt.
