Humboldt boys’ soccer downs Dodgers 1-0

Humboldt, IA – On Thursday, May 13, Humboldt High School boys’ soccer topped Fort Dodger 1-0 at home.

The only goal of the game was scored in the first half. James Gould was the Wildcat’s goal scorer.

Fort Dodge reports taking five shots, two of them on goal. Goali Adam Pearson is credited with seven saves and the one goal against in 80 minutes played.

Humboldt boys’ soccer is now 13-2. They’ve won eight straight games, five of them being shutouts.

The next match for the Wildcats will be Friday, May 14. They will be hosting Garner Hayfield Ventura in the regular season finale. Match time is set for 5 pm.
