Humboldt girls’ snap losing streak with 2-0 win over Dodgers

Fort Dodge, IA – On Thursday, May 13, Humboldt High School girls’ soccer got the win at Dodger Stadium over Fort Dodge, 2-0.

Both the goals for the Wildcats came in the first half. Senior Yuli Orana was the goal scorer, unassisted on both. She took a total of four shots in the game, three of which were on goal.

Humboldt reports a total of 21 shots taken, eleven of them on goal. Goalie Maria Elizondo made 10 saves with 80 shut out minutes in goal.

Humboldt is now 4-10 this season their next match is on Thursday, May 20, on the road against Garner Hayfield Ventura. Match time is set for 5:30 pm.
