Humboldt, IA – The Food Bank of Iowa will be hosting a mobile food pantry at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds this week.
On Wednesday, May 12, the state’s food bank will be at the fairground starting at 4:30 pm to hand out food to those in need. Like the previous mobile food banks in 2020-21, this will be a drive-thru format. They will have food for 120 families.
During this drive-thru mobile pantry, those receiving food are asked to remain in their cars. The volunteers will safely load the prepackaged food box into the recipients trunk or back seat.
