4th of July events for the community

Humboldt, IA – Humboldt will have plenty of activities to enjoy while celebrating the 4th of July holiday.

The Independence Day traditions are scheduled for July 4. As previously reported, the Run White and Blue Run is scheduled to begin at 9 am in front of US Bank downtown. They will be accepting day of registrations.

There will be a Bible reading marathon at the Humboldt County Court House starting at 10:30 am. The participants will be spread out across the steps and lawn of the court house and will read until about 3:30 pm.

The Humboldt 4th of July Parade will begin at 7pm. The route will beat the intersection of Taft Street North and 1st Avenue North before making its way to Sumner Avenue, 4th Street North and ending on 4th Avenue North. Parade entries are still being excepted by email at [email protected].

The evening will conclude with a large fireworks display being launched from in front of the grand stands at the Humboldt County Fair Grounds. KHBT 97.7 the Bolt will provide patriotic music for the entire show.

Community members are welcome to attend any and all 4th of July events.
