Humboldt, IA – On Tuesday, July 6, Humboldt baseball beat Manson-NW Webster at home by a score of 7-2.
Mason struck first by scoring a run in the top of the first inning to take the 1-0 lead. Humboldt’s response game in the bottom of the second innings when they took the lead with three runs in the frame.
After a scoreless third inning, Manson-NW Webster was able to get one run in the top of the fourth. Humboldt doubled their score in the bottom of the same inning to push their lead to 6-2.
The final run for Humboldt came in the bottom of the sixth inning to complete the 7-2 Wildcats victory.

Humboldt’s record is now 18-8 this season.
Their next game will be Wednesday, July 7, on the road against Algona who is 16-10 this season and 9-3 in the North Central Conference. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 pm, following a JV game.
