Lu Verne, IA – The 2021 Lu Verne Celebration is coming on Saturday, July 10, for a fun day full of plenty of activities.
The Lu Verne Action Committee has announced their 2021 Lu Verne Days will begin at 7:30 am with registration for the 5K Run/Walk at City Park. The 5K will begin at 8 am and there will be a cinnamon roll breakfast at the time as well.
At 10 am, the Firemen’s Beer Garden and Food will begin with music and the volleyball tournament will start as well. At 10:30, there will be the kid and adult pedal pull.
The Lu Verne Parade will start at 2 pm with line up beginning at 1:15 at New Coop. Sign up for the bags tournament will begin at 3:30 pm with knockout beginning at 4:30 and the tournament starting at 5. There will also be a 4 pm kickball tournament.
At 7 pm, the Prince and Princess of Lu Verne will be crowns. The day will close with a fireworks display at the park.
