Humboldt, IA – A 911 Dispatcher that worked for the Humboldt County Law Enforcement Center for 37 years has retired. Deann Friesth started her career with the LEC back in 1984 and Humboldt County Sheriff Dean Kruger says she will be greatly missed.

Friesth’s last day was July 29th. Sheriff Kruger also says that Paula Green has retired as a Dispatcher as well after 24 years of service and that Tim Terwilliger recently retired last fall as well. Kruger says that they are not currently looking to hire any new dispatchers and that they are full staffed. Kruger says they will hold a retirement party for all three of them at the end of the August open to the public. KHBT will have more details as we get closer to the event.
