Humboldt, IA – Travis’s Goedken’s last day as Humboldt City Administrator was Thursday, after almost 6 years in the position. Goedken started the position in January of 2016 and says leaving Humboldt to be the City Administrator of Decorah was not an easy decision.
During Goedken’s time as City Administrator, a new child care and learning center was created along with a new recreation center, Humboldt County Memorial Hospital among other things. Goedken says Humboldt was a great place to grow his career and raise his family.
