Dakota City, IA – At Monday’s Humboldt County Board of Supervisors Meeting, there was a discussion about the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department purchasing a side by side vehicle to be used in emergency situations, particularly in the winter. The Board of Supervisors decided that building a storage building is a bigger priority at this time. Sheriff Dean Kruger says he’s okay with the boards decision.
Kruger says that purchasing a side by side vehicle is still a part of future plans and explained what the next steps are.
Humboldt County began talks about a storage building about 2 ago and the Board of Supervisors are looking into American Rescue Plan Funds to pay for that.
