Fort Dodge – Fort Dodge Police is investigating an armed robbery at a Fort Dodge Convenience Store on Sunday. The Webster County Telecommunications Center received a call at 11:05 PM on Sunday that a robbery had just occurred at the Star Convenience Store at 115 North 22nd St in Fort Dodge.
Information provided to Police indicates that a man entered the story while displaying a gun and demanded money. He left with an undisclosed amount of money and there were no injuries in the incident. As officers arrived on scene, they searched the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him.
The suspect was described as an adult black male, wearing dark clothing, sunglasses and a partial face mask. The Fort Dodge Police continues to investigate this incident and strongly encourages anyone with information to contact police.
