Humboldt, IA – A nationally renowned comedian is coming to Humboldt. Etta May is a comedian from Kentucky known as the “Polyester Princess” winner of the American Comedy Awards Comic of the Year, and will be performing in Humboldt on Saturday, November 13th at 716 Main in downtown Humboldt. Doors will open at 7 pm and tickets are $20. The comedy show is hosted by KHBT thru Open Roads Entertainment, a division of Open Roads Media. KHBT Co-Owner Pat Kolar says he’s excited to bring Etta May to Humboldt.
Kolar says 716 Main is a perfect location for the show with the restaurant remodeling the upstairs area to allow for additional seating in the balcony. Kolar says Etta May’s comedy has truth, irony, humor and some wisdom.
Tickets can be picked up at the KHBT radio station at 2196 Montana Ave in Humboldt or pick them up at the door.
