Alleman, IA – The Humboldt Wildcats are 6-0 and 2-0 in District play after a 52-31 win at North Polk on Friday Night. Senior Quarterback Caden Matson had a vintage performance rushing for 240 yards and 4 touchdowns and for passed 209 yards two touchdowns, one to Will Orness and the other to Corey Dettmann. Tanner McKimmey added a touchdown run and Nolan Lammers and Christian Alcalla each had interceptions for the Wildcats defense.
On the other side, Brady Miller had 4 rushing touchdowns for North Polk but it wasn’t enough because the Wildcats scored on every single offensive possession of the game, including this dagger late in the 4th.
Next up for the Wildcats is a road match up at 0-6 Gilbert on Friday.
