Dakota City, IA – At Monday’s Humboldt Community School District School Board meeting the Board said goodbye to outgoing School Board Member Suzanne Newton. Newton had been a member of the school board for the previous 8 years and decided not to run this year. Shane Davis was welcomed as a new member of the Humboldt Community School District School Board at the meeting.
Also at the meeting, Humboldt High School Principal Dr. Paul Numedahl and the high school team of instructional coaches presented information on Visible Learning, which is the professional development focus for the High School Staff.

Visible learning has been implemented since the beginning of this school year and Murray says it is ongoing and he hopes Humboldt High School continues to build on Visible Learning in the future.
