Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt Police Department is investigating a string of vehicle burglaries that were reported on Sunday in Humboldt. Humboldt Police Chief Joel Sanders says the first burglary was reported at 6:30 AM on Sunday and that at least 9 separate Humboldt residents also reported their vehicle had been burglarized.

Sanders says the incidents occurred predominantly east of Taft and south of Sumner. The incidents are under investigation.
