Humboldt, IA – A preliminary plan for an industrial park called the Three Rivers Industrial Park in in Humboldt is currently in the preliminary planning phase. Humboldt County Development Association Executive Director Alissa O’Connor explains the first steps in the project, which includes annexing land.
The land is north of 16th Avenue North and east of Kentucky Ave on the Northwest side of Humboldt.
O”Connor says that the annexation of the land is hoped to be completed by the end of the year and then add it to the Urban Renewal Area. She says the tentative plan is to set a public hearing on the annexation of the property at the December 6th Humboldt City Council Meeting.
