Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt Wrestling teams had a successful first meet last night, as the Wildcats Boys dominated Charles City 57-21 and Estherville Lincoln Central 71-6. Wildcats Head Coach Chad Beaman was pleased with his team’s results.
The Wildcats Girls Wrestling team also competed as they went had a 6-6 record in their matches last night. Head Coach Andy Newell says it was a good showing for his team against good competition.
Newell spotlighted some of his athletes who stood out on Thursday.
Humboldt Wrestling is hosting the Joe Fitch Invitational today starting at 4:30, boys Head Coach Chad Beaman says there will be good competition at the meet that will provide a good challenge for his team.
