Humboldt, IA -A book chronicling a journey of an Iowa woman who battled a terminal illness was recently published and her husband hopes that her story brings hope to many. Tim Heller of Humboldt and his deceased wife Savannah of Fort Dodge are the co-authors of the book Diary of a Dying Woman, published in late November 2021 by by Page Publishing. Savannah passed away on September 14, 2020 after battling pulmonary hypertension for over two years. She was 51. Her husband Tim says the book details her life living with a terminal illness.
Heller says death is something that can be very difficult to talk about and is a topic that many people avoid but says he has gotten a positive reaction to the book.
Diary of a Dying Woman can be purchased at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and an electronic version will be available on the Kindle.
