HUMBOLDT, IA – The Humboldt High School Music Department’s Wildcat Jazz team competed at the NCIBA district Jazz festival on Monday at the Surf in Clear lake and Wildcat Jazz placed 3rd at the Jazz festival to earn a wildcard bid for the Iowa Jazz Championships in April. Humboldt High School Band Director Tiffany Wurth says 3 students were recognized as outstanding soloists but is proud of all of the students for all of their hard work.
Next up for Wildcat Jazz is Night of Jazz on March 7th at 7 pm at the Humboldt High School Auditorium.
