Board of Supervisors approve construction permit for hog site

Humboldt, IA – At Monday’s Humboldt County Board of Supervisors meeting, Humboldt County Zoning Administrator Randy Krecklow presented to the Board the Master Matrix and Construction Permit Application for a hog facility for Summit Pork III LLC. The Board unanimously passed the Construction permit application for the facility, that will be constructed in the Wacousta Twin Rivers District just northwest of Ottosen.

Since the hog confinement passed the Master Matrix and the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors approved the construction permit, Summit Pork is set for next phase of the project which is construction of the hog site, which could begin as soon as this spring.
