Dakota City, IA -At Monday’s Humboldt County Board of Supervisors Meeting there was a public hearing and discussion about the construction of a hog site in Humboldt County.
The discussion centered around Summit Pork, LLP and their plan to construct a hog site in Wacousta Township, northwest of Ottosen on Colorado Avenue.
Board Of Supervisors Chairman Bruce Reimers explains how the hog site passed the master matrix and describes what that is.
Reimers says that though the hog site passed the master matrix the board had one concern.
The Construction Permit Application for Summit Pork was tabled and is set to be approved or disapproved next week.
