Humboldt, IA -Humboldt County Memorial Hospital is hosting the first ever Humboldt 5K color run walk, with all proceeds going to mental health and suicide awareness. Mardi Ratzlaff is the Director of Community Development at HCMH and has some more details on the event.
Nolan Vitzthum serves as a licensed therapist and social worker in the mental health department at HCMH and describes the purpose behind the 5k color run walk.
The 5k color walk route will be around the Humboldt High School and Middle School, and the run walk starts at 2:30 on Sunday May 1st.
