Humboldt, IA -Two Humboldt High School students were named All State at the individual state speech competition recently. Emily Wiebke is the Speech Coach at Humboldt High and talked about it on Wildcat News this week.
Numedahl received a division 1 rating in Public Address and Carvajal earned a division 1 rating in Original Oratory.
Other division 1 ratings for the Wildcats include Brody Paterson in Radio News, Kaitlyn Thompson in Poetry and Literary Program, Jackson Fischer in Public Address, Taryn McKimmey in Story Telling, Elle Clark in Solo Musical Theatre, and Sarah Numedahl in Original Oratory.
Those who earned division 2 ratings include Oswaldo Vasquez in Original Oratory, Collin Vik in Radio News, Ryder Wickett in Solo Musical Theatre, and Ty Schulter in Radio News.
