Humboldt, IA -Humboldt’s Caden Matson was selected as the Iowa Football Coaches Association Class 3A Player of the year on Thursday. The Future Iowa State Cyclone made incredible plays for the Wildcats all season long at quarterback and safety, including this touchdown run in the state semifinals against Harlan.
Along with earning player of the year honors, Matson earned 1st team all state and helped the Wildcats to an 11-1 record.
